Welcome to my June Book Review and Book Giveaway, and I am excited about this book because it has shown up in just the right season, and God has used it to help me get on the road I need to be on with writing, book marketing, and speaking.

Hustle…the culture uses this word constantly. As I have gone through the process of writing and publishing my first book, getting into all the marketing and have-tos, I have found myself drowning in the hustle and discouraged.

In Redefing Hustle: Navigating Success with Jesus, Erin Harrington meets us there. She begins by redefining the hustle and brings us back to the basics of pausing and sitting with Jesus, surrendering our lives, books, and businesses to Him. Through Scripture, her experiences, and her personal journey, she takes us along, reminding us that Jesus is the one who defines us and wants to lead us into all He has for us.

We don’t have to do all the work, have it all figured out, or know all the steps; we do have to surrender to Him and let Him lead us in who He has created us to be. It is such a freeing process!

This is a book I am keeping on my shelf. It is a guide for me as I pray for God to redefine hustle in my own life, to live in the present, not rushing, going crazy, or burning out. I pray this for you too!
