Andrew Ballou’s Testimony

Hi, my name is Andrew Ballou. I am a senior in high school in West Warwick, R.I. I got diagnosed with Aspergers when I was eight years old. From third grade to my freshman year of high school, I was a really shy person, like a kid in the corner, until May 14, 2014. I broke my confidence shell with a flash mob and got everyone to dance.  That same year, I started my DJ career. A lot of times, people with Autism love music. Music makes everyone hyped up and I DJ to handle my disability. I love to entertain and planning my future ahead. Once I was saved by Jesus Christ on Christmas Eve of 2015, He boosted my purpose on why I love to entertain and to inspire others to a whole different level. I also coach and compete with Special Olympics of North Kingstown, R.I. for swimming. My advice to the people and parents dealing with this is to stay confident by listening to your own drum beat and listen to the Lord as He guides you because He knows the way He created you to be. Follow His lead. I am jamming out with Jesus as I DJ. I hope you find this helpful and I hope more strength comes your way.
